History or Founder's Story
Empowerment Outreach Inc. was founded in 2025 by a group of educators, community leaders, and advocates who saw a growing need for accessible programs that uplift underserved populations in Maryland. What started as a small community ESL class quickly expanded into a full-service nonprofit offering English instruction, youth mentorship, and senior outreach.
Our founders shared one common belief: that real, lasting change begins when we invest in people—especially those who are often overlooked. Today, we continue that legacy by creating pathways for growth, confidence, and connection.

Terry is a Life coach with over 15 years of experience in adult literacy and nonprofit leadership. He also has a extensive background in nonprofit financial bookkeeping and compliance

Annette is an influencer and Life Coach social who now leads community engagement initiatives for underserved seniors.

Program Director
Bethany brings a passion to help design and organize curriculum for underserved community members in educational literacy.
